Common questions about Alliance UHC, answered.
Ultra Hardcore — natural health regeneration is disabled. The only way to heal is golden apples, golden heads, or potions. Every heart counts and death is permanent.
You're scattered randomly into the world. Mine resources, craft gear, and prepare during the grace period. When PvP enables, fight to survive. Eventually the border shrinks and all remaining players meet at 0,0 for a final battle.
Craft golden apples (8 gold ingots + apple) or golden heads (8 gold ingots + player head dropped on death). Potions can also heal if the nether is enabled. Check the match post for heal amounts.
When a player dies they drop their head. Surround it with 8 gold ingots to craft a golden head. Eating it heals you (usually 4 hearts). Check /feature or the match post for the exact heal amount.
The border shrinks to 0,0 and all players must fight. You cannot dig down or avoid combat. Blocks may decay after being placed. Last player or team standing wins.
Grace Period — no PvP, gather resources. PvP — combat is enabled, fight or avoid others. Border Shrink — the border closes in. Meetup — everyone fights at 0,0.
