Rules

Know the rules before you drop in. Ignorance is not an excuse.

Game Rules

Stealing
Allowed
Hosts cannot refund items lost to drops or stolen from furnaces.
Stalking
Conditional
Allowed but not excessively. If a player is obstructing your mining, use /report <player> or /helpop <player> stalking.
Towering
Until Meetup
Players must come down for the final fight at meetup. Unless scenario says otherwise.
Forting
Until Meetup
Players cannot build 4-walled forts that slow down gameplay.
Digging Down
Until Meetup
At meetup, players must stay on the surface.
iPvP
Not Allowed
Not allowed before PvP is enabled.
Crossteaming
Not Allowed
Not allowed unless the scenario says otherwise (e.g. Infinite Allies).
F3+A / F5
Use at Own Risk
Allowed, but this is not a valid excuse for cavefinder bans. Use at your own risk.

All mining styles are allowed — stripmining, pokeholing, mining to teammates, and mining to sounds.

Banned Modifications

X-Ray / Cavefinder
Bannable
X-ray resourcepacks and cavefinder are strictly not allowed.
Minimap Mods
Not Allowed
Minimap mods can show entities, terrain and players before they are visible.
Tracers / Hacked Clients
Permanently Bannable
Tracers and other hacked clients are strictly not allowed and can result in a permanent ban.
